Changes rarely happen in the therapy room but rather in between the sessions. They happen when you take something with you, keep reflecting on it and maybe take one little step on a different path.

My main priority is to make you feel comfortable talking to me, and to listen carefully to your story. We can then plan together how you will get from the sessions what you have set for yourself.

I combine established Cognitive Behavioural Therapy interventions with elements of art, music and mindfulness, as well as with my wide knowledge on physical and mental health, and on the biochemistry of mind-altering substances. I also adapt my communication style and the contents of the sessions to your preferred thinking style (verbal/visual).

My aim for each session is that you take something with you: a new thought, a different feeling, motivation for a different course of action.

My approach


Mondays 13:30 – 22:00 The Hague

Tuesdays 8:30 – 17:30 The Hague

Thursday to Saturday online (also evening appointments possible)

Welcome session 30 min

Individual sessions 60 min/90 min

Online group sessions (small groups – 4 participants)

The costs are not covered by the basic health insurance. The additional package of some insurance companies might (partially) cover the costs.

I sometimes have the possibility to offer a certain number of sessions at a reduced rate.
