Draw your feelings journey – week 23

Strange how much ‘surprised’ and ‘shocked’ resemble each other. At least to me. Both can take on a ‘negative’ or ‘positive’ flavour depending on one’s thoughts, on how the situation is interpreted and what meaning is attached to it. I just felt a subtle difference in intensity: ‘shocked’ is definitely stronger than ‘surprised’.

Thank you Shereen for inspiring me to join your project!

English translation:

  1. Surprise can be a creative spiral
  2. Unpleasantly surprised can resemble panic
  3. Sometimes surprises come from within. When I can see something special in the ordinary.
  4. I imagined a path for myself but embracing a surprise opened up a new path.

See previous week – shocked

See next week – I’m not yet there 🙂
